The Hagadone Event Center has long been one of my favorite wedding venues in Coeur d’ Alene. I remember the first time I attended a wedding there, even before I was a wedding photographer. It was magical. The venue sits right on the shores of Lake Coeur d’ Alene and the views are stunning. It is no wonder it is one of the most sought after wedding venues in Coeur d’ Alene.

Fast forward a few years and I got to photograph my very first Hagadone Event Center wedding. I was very excited to have the opportunity to be a wedding photographer there. It was an incredible experience. The staff at the wedding venue were second to none and the day went incredibly smooth. Since the first wedding, I have had the opportunity to take wedding photos at the Hagadone Event Center about half a dozen times; and every time was amazing. It is my opinion that it is impossible to not take great photos there.

Ceremony Locations

There are two ceremony locations at the Hagadone Event Center. The first spot is outdoors in a grassy area that contains a small infinity pool and is lined with beautiful red geraniums. The couple stands on a pathway that goes through the middle of the infinity pool. When the couple stands on that pathway, the lake is directly behind them and the view is unlike any other you may find at another wedding venue in Coeur d’ Alene.

The next ceremony location is indoors. Though most couples have their wedding ceremony outdoors, the spot indoors is also incredible. The inside of the Hagadone Event Center is lined with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that can be opened up, allowing for access to the terrace. The view from the indoor ceremony spot is the same as the outdoor spot; overlooking lake Coeur d’ Alene. Inside the venue, there are lights strung from the ceiling and the decor can be customized by every couple. I personally can say that the inside has looked different for every wedding I’ve photographed there. I even had the opportunity once to photograph a wedding that took place right around Christmas. There were trees with lights all around the interior and entrance and it was incredible.

Reception Locations

The Hagadone Event Center reception locations are in the same spots as the ceremony locations. The outdoor location tends to be used when the number of guests is on the lower end while the indoor reception location is used most times as there are typically a lot of guests invited to Hagadone Event Center weddings. Whatever location you choose though, I guarantee you will love it.

My Favorite Wedding Photo Spots

My favorite locations for Hagadone Event Center wedding photos are centered around the two infinity pools found on the property. I also love taking photos in the small forested area by the outdoor ceremony location and along the beachfront. As I mentioned previously, there really are no bad locations to take photos around the venue.

The Hagadone Event Center also offers fireworks during the summer and they are incredible to witness and photograph. A couple of my favorite photos from the venue have been taken during firework shows.

Final Thoughts

There is a reason why Hagadone Event Center weddings are some of my favorites I have photographed to date.
