Hello! My name is Zach Nichols and I am a wedding photographer in the Spokane and Coeur d’ Alene area. Over the years of being a wedding photographer, I have had the opportunity to photograph weddings at some of Spokane’s best venues and I’ve seen just about every one there is. In this article, I have compiled some of my all-time favorite venues that are perfect for any bride’s special day. These venues are by no means in any particular order but have all been selected based on aesthetic, client satisfaction, and guest experience.

1) Trezzi Farm Winery - the best venue in green bluff

Trezzi Farm Winery is located in Colbert, WA and is one of the many “red barn” venues in the area. While it does share a similar barn feel to many of the others in the area, this venue does stand head and shoulders above the others in overall layout and purpose. This location feels like it was meant to be an event center and not just a barn on someone’s land. It has a high-class feel and aesthetic. The wine they serve is from their own vineyard and their food pairings are also great.

I have had the opportunity to be a guest at this venue (not as a hired vendor) a few times and every time was enjoyable and relaxed. There is plenty of room and seating to be able to have great conversations and it felt very high-class. This is in stark contrast to many of the other venues in the area that feel very compact and cramped with 150-200 guests; especially so when the weather requires guests to be indoors.

2) Arbor Crest Wine Cellars - the best vineyard wedding venue in spokane

Arbor Crest Wine Cellars is a name most every Spokanite is familiar with. This wedding venue overlooks Spokane from a southern-facing bluff above Spokane and Spokane Valley. The view is spectacular as is the overall experience the couple have when booking with the venue. The selection of wines is amazing and the grounds are immaculate. It is truly on a level of its own. If you like incredible views and a high-class winery feel, this is the venue for you.

3) Beacon Hill Events - the best all-around experience

Beacon Hill Events is another venue with an amazing view. Though they do have a vineyard of sorts, they are not necessarily known for being a winery. In fact, they order most of their wine from Barrister Winery. The venue is another higher-class location and offers an incredible experience for couples and guests alike. Beacon hill is also well-known for their catering. The food at this venue is top-notch and is consistently some of the best in the area.

4) The Historic Davenport - the best historic indoor venue

The Historic Davenport is one-of-a-kind. If you want a historic and very elegant hotel feel for your wedding, this is the venue for you. Of all the indoor venues in Spokane, this is by far the most elegant and high-class.

5) Glover Mansion - the best intimate indoor venue

The Glover Mansion is another iconic historic building located on the lower South Hill. Glover Mansion offers an amazing secluded feel for your wedding day. The ceremony location is tucked away in the back-yard and the interior is nearly all wood and is immaculate. The mansion also has incredible food and offers a great experience for couples and guests alike.

6) Settlers Creek - The best post falls venue

Settlers Creek is by far my favorite venue in the Post Falls area and is truly one of a kind. It offers an expansive property with multiple ceremony locations to choose from and an all-inclusive experience with amazing staff to help you throughout your day. They offer a house on the property to get ready in and some of the best food in the wedding industry.

7) Hagadone Event Center - the best wedding venue overlooking lake cda

The Hagadone Event Center is hands down the most beautiful venue that overlooks lake CDA. They offer all-inclusive services and are a part of the CDA Resort which offers a one-stop-shop for overnight stay, getting ready, and the rest of your wedding day. They also have shuttles that will take guests to and from the resort from the event center.
